The texture plates are made of vulcanised natural rubber. This one is obtained from latex. The texture plates are not really suitable for people with allergies to latex.

APPLICATIONS
Can be used for different techniques: impress the textures, Sutton Slice, Mica shift, ...

IMPRESS OF TEXTURES: Place the texture plate on the clay to be decorated and press firmly.
Do not roll with the roller over the texture plate, otherwise the motive can deform, but press with the palm of the hand.

SUTTON SLICE: Press small pieces of CERNIT clay into the recesses of the texture plate until all recesses are filled. Using a flexible blade CERNIT, remove any excess of clay that exceeds the pattern.
Press a sheet of clay in a contrasting colour onto the texture plate, turn the plate and press firmly to adhere the second colour to the clay pressed into the recesses. Remove the structure plate carefully.

MICA SHIFT: Use CERNIT GLAMOUR – thoroughly condition the CERNIT GLAMOUR clay by running it about 20 times through the pasta machine placing the clay each time in the same direction into the
machine, this allows all mica particles to be oriented in the same direction. Place the texture plate on the clay. Press firmly in order to impress the pattern into the clay. Remove the structure plate carefully. Using a flexible blade CERNIT, remove the relief pattern to achieve a very smooth surface. Rolling with the inox roller over the design, gives a perfect finish of the realisation. After baking, this creates a 3D-effect on a smooth surface.
