Washing Machine Fabric Dye, Wash&Go, 75 g, DEKA

DEKA Wash&Go dyes are the right choice for highly lightfast, wash resistant and boil-proof dyeings.
The fabrics
The washing machine
All white or light-coloured natural fibers such as e.g. cotton, linen, batiste, flax, viscose and high quality silk can be dyed.
Wool: We recommend hand dyeing.
Synthetic fibers do not accept the dye, blended fabrics only to a limited extent.
The higher the synthetic part in blended fabrics, the weaker and more uneven the dyeing. See laundry label.
Since new fabrics are equipped with a coating, this must be removed before dyeing by washing with detergent without fabric softener.
The same applies to softened rinsed textiles.
Make sure that the fabrics prepared for dyeing do not have stains, they cannot be removed by "overdyeing".
When overdyeing coloured fabrics, it must be taken into account that mixed colours will result. You can only dye from light to dark.
Example: Purple cannot be dyed yellow.
The rubber seals of the washing machine may become coloured, but this has no effect.
You should dye max.1kg of fabric, so that there is sufficient water during dyeing.
Weigh the fabrics before dyeing!
You will achieve the best result at 40° - 60°.
The dyeing time in the main wash
cycle should be at least 40 minutes.
Some machines have a shorter main wash cycle. In this case, repeat the main wash cycle before the first rinse.
Do not choose economy cycle!
Then run the rest of the wash program.
In this way, the dyed items are also rinsed sufficiently at the same time.
The colour also suitable for batik!

The dyeing
The washing instruction
Dyed fabrics should be washed only with textiles of the same colour.
To avoid dark stripes, dyed articles should be bareley pinned to clothesline. Hang garments on hangers.
Do not dry in the blazing sun or near a heater. The dyeing result should not be judged on the wet fabric.
Wet appears the dyeing always darker.
Add the appropriate amount of salt to the drum with the fabric, which must be dripping wet. Dilute thoroughly dye concentrate and fixative in 2 liters of hot water in a bucket.
Switch main wash cycle to 60° without prewash. The higher the temperature setting, the deeper the dyeing!
After the end of the water supply, when the wash program begins, pour in the dye solution through the detergent chamber.
Then rinse with 1 liter of warm water.
At the end of the program, perform another
wash cycle with a mild detergent.
This removes excess colour and cleans the washing machine at the same time.
The dyeing result is dependent on the concentration of the dye bath, the duration of the dyeing, the temperature of the dye bath, the type of fabric and much more.
For colouring full tone:
500 g fabric
250 g salt
1 bag of colour concentrate
1 bag of reactive medium

For your safety: Avoid skin contact.
Wear rubber gloves. Rarely direct skin
contact with the dye leads to allergic reactions.

Do not inhale dye powder, keep away from children
