Leather Needle for Ppofessional Sewing Machines, System: 134LR (= 135x5 LR, SY1955 LR, DPx5 LR, 135×8R TW, PF×134LR) NewCondition
System 134 needles are currently among the most common needles used in industrial sewing machines of European origin or produced for the European market (JUKI, PFAFF, Singer, Dürkopp, Russian-made straight stitch machines, etc.).
They are also used for hand sewing leather when secured in a suitable handle. The shank diameter of this needle is 2.0 mm.
The needle is long and features a thicker, round shank.
As a general rule, we recommend using size No. 100 or No. 110. If you are unsure about which needle size to choose, it is better to opt for a thicker needle.
Use leather needles exclusively for natural leather. When sewing faux/artificial leather, the seam may tear.
ORGAN is the world's largest and best-known (but also the most counterfeited) sewing machine needle manufacturer. KL24 guarantees the genuine origin of ORGAN needles. Most sewing machines and sergers/overlockers come equipped with ORGAN needles when new.
SCHMETZ is the most well-known and highly regarded machine needle manufacturer in Europe.
A high-quality needle stays sharp longer, does not break easily, and does not bend. The steel of every needle fatigues over time while sewing, and eventually, the needle breaks. Every time a needle breaks, it poses a risk to the machine: it can cause nicks on the needle plate or the overlock looper, damage the bobbin case, etc. By choosing a good needle, you achieve a more beautiful stitch and protect your sewing machine.
