United material thickness: 8-10 mm. In thinner ones, you have to shorten the leg. Screw-in rivets are convenient - you can put them in without special tools.

The hole make using ø4 mm hole punch.

The hat on the right side of the rivet is smooth and on the other side there is a notch for a screwdriver.
