The two-prong shape helps prevent the fabric layers from shifting.

Ø0.7 mm is suitable for use with a very wide range of fabrics. Shorter pins can be used more quickly. Not suitable for fine silk, satin or other delicate or densely structured fabrics.

Ø1.1 mm pins are stronger than standard pins and are suitable for working with thicker fabrics, such as coat fabrics and upholstery fabrics. They are not suitable for dense, very strong, impregnated or rubberised materials.

There is no head, so the pins lie flatter and are easier to sew over.
