CLASSIQUE: bright and brilliant colours for animal fibres such as silk, wool

Steam setting is required for Dyes, in order to make the colors permanent, light fast and washable. They can be used concentrated or diluted, and can be mixed together in order to obtain additional shades and colors.
Dyes are versatile and effective with all the applications; serti-gutta, Batik, “ E paississant ” (thickener), “ A ntifusant ”, salt effect, watercolor (aquarelle), silk screening, airbrushing and dyeing baths for silk and wool.

CHARACTERISTICS

These colours are produced on basis of acid dyes.
This allows to obtain very intense colours with excellent weather, light and fade-resistance.
The dye enters the fibre and remains there after fixation, the realisation has no right side nor reverse.
Due to the high concentration the colours can be used pure or diluted for all silk painting techniques.

APPLICATIONS
These colours can be used in painting and dyeing
The dye bath consists of water, 1 to 5% white vinegar and 0.5 to 15% of CLASSIQUE dyes depending on the colour intensity desired and the quantity of fabric to be coloured
Fixed by steaming (1,5-3 hours depending material thickness).

It is recommended that the bottles be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sun light.
