Product Description: Ruffler / Pleating Attachment

Function: When sewing two non-stretch fabrics together, this attachment automatically pleats or gathers one fabric while simultaneously stitching it onto the other.
Adjustable Features: You can easily customize:

Pleating Frequency: Choose how many stitches occur between each pleat (e.g., every 1st, 6th, or 12th stitch, or straight stitching without pleats).
Pleat Depth: Easily adjust the depth of each pleat using the adjustment screw.

Installation: This foot attaches directly to the presser bar using the mounting screw. Simply remove your machine’s current snap-on ankle by loosening its screw, and attach the ruffler using that same screw. Note: Make sure the fork-like operating lever sits securely over the needle clamp screw. The movement of the needle bar drives the mechanism.
Compatibility: Screw-on feet are compatible with almost all domestic sewing machines from any era. Over the last few decades, mounting systems have become standard, meaning there is less than a 5% chance the foot won't fit your newer machine.
