Product Description: Ruler Quilting Foot

Compatibility: The foot is suitable for practically all new and old domestic sewing machines with standard screw-on or snap-on ankle systems. The machine must have a low-shank mechanism, which is standard for most domestic machines. If your machine has a snap-on ankle, simply remove it and attach this foot directly using the same screw.
Mounting Height: The crucial dimension is the presser foot bar height, which is approximately 17mm on this model (with adjustable leeway).
Rigid Construction: This sturdy foot is specifically engineered for the demands of ruler quilting. It allows you to guide the foot confidently and smoothly along the edges of the ruler.
Height Adjustment: The first step when installing the foot, changing materials, or switching rulers is adjusting the foot height. By loosening the mounting screw, you can secure the foot at various heights (provides ample adjustment range).
Ruler Requirements: Never use a ruler thinner than 3mm. The best specialized quilting rulers are 5mm thick.
Professional Results: Ruler quilting is a rapidly growing trend. While free-motion quilting requires extensive practice, rulers allow you to achieve professional-grade results with much less effort.
