Product Description: 1/4" Patchwork / Quilting Foot with Edge Guide

Function: This presser foot is designed for straight stitching only. The specialized built-in edge guide supports precise sewing at a fixed distance of 1/4 inch (approx. 7mm) from the fabric edge. It is widely utilized among quilting and patchwork enthusiasts and is perfect whenever a perfectly straight seam exactly 7mm from the edge is required.
Compatibility: Suitable for top-loading (horizontal bobbin system) Janome and Elna sewing machines with a maximum stitch width of 7mm. It can be used on standard 5mm stitch width machines as well, though the centerline will sit slightly off-center from the needle position. For 5mm models, we recommend choosing a standard low-shank snap-on 1/4 inch foot.
